Empathy is a Superpower.
Meet Lauren
"I'm Lauren, I built Empatha for the ones who feel deeply and rise anyway.
Empathy isn't a soft skill. It's the strongest medicine I know."
Mission & Vision
Mission:
At Empatha Psychiatry, my mission is to provide mental health care that is both compassionate and practical. I believe in blending evidence-based treatment with genuine human connection so that every person feels seen, heard, and supported. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you toward stability, growth, and hope.
Vision:
My vision is to create a space where seeking help feels safe and empowering—not intimidating. I want Empatha Psychiatry to be a place where people can show up as their authentic selves and know they’ll be met with understanding, empathy, and respect. Over time, my hope is that clients leave not just with relief from symptoms, but with confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of possibility.
What to expect
Starting something new can feel overwhelming, so I make the process simple and supportive. All sessions at Empatha Psychiatry are virtual, so you can join from the comfort of your own space. After scheduling, you’ll receive a secure telehealth link in your confirmation and reminder emails.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about your history, challenges, and goals. My role is to understand your story—not just your symptoms—and to create a plan that feels tailored and manageable.
Over time, you can expect sessions to feel collaborative and practical. I combine evidence-based tools—like CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness—with medication management when appropriate. My hope is that you leave each session with clarity, useful strategies, and a growing sense of balance and hope.
