About Me – Lauren Cranston Seaton, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Hello and welcome—I’m Lauren, the founder of Empatha Psychiatry and a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington State, as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

I’ve dedicated over a decade to the field of mental health, working across hospitals, outpatient clinics, community mental health, and correctional environments. These diverse experiences have shaped my belief that every individual’s mental health journey is unique and deserving of compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University and am known for my collegial, down-to-earth, and authentic approach—both with clients and professional teams. At Empatha Psychiatry, my primary role is to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management, along with supportive therapeutic services as appropriate. While I do not provide intensive psychotherapy, I believe in offering a supportive, empathetic environment to help guide clients through their care.
